Jerry Storage, Laguna Woods Village’s general manager, said the honor is well deserved. “No other community in the country offers as many advantages as Laguna Woods Village. With seven clubhouses, a 27-hole golf course, equestrian center, fare-free private bus system, and so much more…”

The 27-hole golf course includes everything from putting greens to a pro shop with professionals on staff. The Equestrian Center offers horses, guided trail rides and instruction. Special events, including horsemanship camps, horse shows, and cookouts take place throughout the year. Residents can board their own horse or rent one, which allows family and friends to join residents for rides and activities. The neighborhood also offers tennis courts, five large swimming pool, shuffleboards and lawn bowling among its amenities for residents.
