Village of Portola Springs debuts new neighborhood
The Irvine Company has debuted its newest neighborhood, Garden Hill, opening in the Irvine Village of Portola Springs. Built by SoCal-based residential architecture and design company KB Home, the new houses are certified as meeting international energy conservation standards set by the Energy Star program. At the neighborhood’s grand opening last weekend, prospective buyers toured three model homes and enjoyed food from The Burnt Truck, a local Orange County food truck.
The Irvine Village of Portola Springs is a quiet community overlooking Loma Ridge and open space. Residents enjoy several parks, trails, athletic fields, and swimming pools. A new park, Tomato Springs, will soon open as well. Students of the Village attend such schools as Stonegate Elementary, Sierra Vista Middle School, and Northwood High School. The homes throughout Portola Springs are designed by KB Homes and begin in the high $500,000s.
The houses in the new neighborhood of Garden Hill come with 3,435 sq. feet of space, 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, and are built with solar power systems. The homes are priced starting in the mid $800,000s
