Nitto Tire sweeps 2012 Impact Awards
Cypress-based Nitto Tire, developer of all-use performance tires, has claimed the most awards in the digital marketing Internet Marketing Association’s 2012 Impact Awards of any other business in this year's award program.
In credit to digital businesses applications developer Cie Studios, Nitto received “best in class” for its creative Internet marketing programs in the areas of Mobile Website, App Development Business to Customer, Facebook Customization, Most Effective Microsite, and Social Media Campaign Promotional Strategy.
Known for interactive programs and products as well as its design, Nitto delivers to a mobile audience. In addition, its Race Results App delivers results and standings in multiple sports car racing series.
Tomo Mizutani, president of Nitto Tire USA, explained how Nitto came to win so much. “Nitto’s philosophy is based on passion and innovation, and we strive to achieve these principles,” Mizutani said. “We are honored to be recognized by the IMA as an innovator in the space.”
The Internet Marketing Association (IMA) has more than 413,000 members and serves a number of educated professionals. The Impact Awards recognizes achievements in Internet marketing, with awards in more than 100 categories.
“The mission of the IMA is to serve as a unique forum for top Internet marketing professionals to share best practices, develop new strategies, create innovative tools and generate business opportunities,” said IMA Chairman Sinan Kanatsiz. “The 2012 Impact Awards embody the vital achievements that we believe reflect the incredibly dynamic nature of our industry.”
